Thunder cracked outside, nearly deafening the lean tom that made his way through the streets towards the casino. In the distance, he could hear Catalina in the alley still- complaining about the 'mess' she had to clean up. Feh. A sneer crossed his maw and he yowled back at her angrily. "Then don't worry about it. That's what the police force does /for/ us." He did not slow his pace- thick paws splashing loudly in the water that pooled on the concrete. Hardly anybody else was out- but he caught the eyes of others watching him from the safety of their cover. He grinned maliciously, ambers glowing in the darkening night. Those who were of the gang and knew the signal quickly followed after their leader- those who did not watched anxiously, the group of cats growing substantially as they neared the casino.
The lights were out- just as Catalina had told him. Rikki grinned, the steel spikes on his collar glinting with sharp flashes of white as lightning continued to dance overhead, thunder shaking them all to the bone. The rain was coming down in torrents, nearly blinding the leader as he turned to face his group. "I say it's been far too long since the lovely folks of the casino have had the pleasure of our company~!" rikki growled out, earning many agreeing and anxious yowls. The tom grinned, fangs bared as he whipped around swiftly- his powerful back legs had kicked the doors completely off of their hinges, sending them back into the crowd of confused and disoriented felines. He watched as their eyes grew wide with fear- their bodies shrinking down as the white flashed in behind the mob that forced their way in around him, though none had dared to come close enough to cause actual physical contact.
Security was held back behind the gamblers and workers who were pushing their way back and away from the gang. Yowls and screeches filled the air to a chorus of shattering glass and splintering wood, gang members grabbing anybody they could get a hold of and not hesitating to do with them as they pleased. Soon, the copper scent of blood filled the air- and the gang leader himself propelled his massive form into the madness. His claws gripped into any skin he could grab hold of, not caring to register if they were of his own group or not, as he tossed felines out of his way. They went crashing into furniture, through walls, and sometimes into other cats as Rikki forced himself into the heat of the battle. He focused his attention to any security he could make out through the chaos, grabbing hold of them with his paws and tearing into them with his fangs.
His thick body and coarse fur deflected most of the claws that tried to strike at his own skin, and let loose a loud barrage of laughter amidst his own fight. "Hello everybody~! Miss me, did you?!" He yowled out, changing his course of attention from security and to the workers and guests that were fleeing like terrified kits. He charged through the masses, large paws forcing multiple bodies to sink below the stampede to be crushed to death while he continued to rip and tear into anything that came within jumping distance. The onslaught lasted for hours- carnage littered the floor, and when the gang grew tired of chasing down the few stragglers that managed to escape, they turned to ripping and tearing at the walls and support of the building. Furniture lay askew and twisted into broken and mangled masses, multiple windows throughout the many floors were broken, and furniture from the rooms was strewn across the sidewalk.
Rikki seemed to hardly take notice of his fun coming to an end- and upon sweeping the entire casino and the hotel to deal last damages, took it upon himself to clean out the vault of most of the cash safes held for converting chips into change. It would be nearly 3 in the morning before the tom lay on his 'throne' at the highest point of the junkyard, watching as his fellow cohorts took their share of change and went to hiding it, other toms who had gotten their share already were taking the safes to toss in either the river or in the streets. Rikki grinned, golden orbs aflame with delight. Catalina was given the second largest portion beneath his own- her information having proven quite the turning point. This strike would bring in numbers for sure, as well as send out a message. Nobody was safe from the wrath of the gang.
